As 2020 comes to a close, our Athletes were asked a few questions about the events of the past year and what they are looking forward to in the next.
Measemode is the final athlete to be highlighted in this series.
How has COVID affected your fitness in the past year? What did you do to overcome these challenges?
"COVID has been difficult and it has been up and down for me all year when it comes to fitness. However, when gyms closed I didn't let that be an excuse for me to take time off. I switched to bands and bodyweight workouts. Luckily I have been located where gyms were only closed for a short time."
What are some things you accomplished this past year that you are most proud of?
"Surprisingly with everything going on in the world this has been one of my best years for growth. I was able to fine tune my diet and put on a good amount of size without gaining too much 'bad weight'. I also hit PR's in all three of my lifts!"
What are your biggest goals going into 2021?
"My main goal in 2021 is to step back on stage (depending on lockdowns and availability). I also have some strength gains I want to get to like a 405 bench, 585 deadlift, and 500 squat."
